Plainstep Orders is an early browser-based purchase order review tool from Plainstep Studio. Uploaded CSVs and PDFs are read in your browser memory. The application does not send their contents to a backend or an AI provider.

What is stored?

This version has no account, application database, or file uploads to a server. Your selected files and review changes clear on refresh or when you start a new review. Exported CSVs are downloaded to your device. Your browser may retain downloads and browsing history according to its own settings.

The website host receives normal web requests, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and secure the website. Local file processing does not mean the host receives no connection data.

Website statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page visits and website performance. Its beacon sends page and browser performance information to Cloudflare; we do not configure it to collect order fields, file contents, or feedback answers. These statistics do not tell us whether someone completed a review or found the tool useful. See Cloudflare Web Analytics for details.

Optional feedback

The feedback form creates a preview from the answers you enter. It does not send a request or include order files, filenames, buyer information or product fields automatically. You can open a draft in your email app or copy the text. Only sending that email shares your answers with us and our email provider. Your email address is then visible to us. Avoid including confidential order information in your note. Refreshing clears unsent form answers.

What does the free pilot include?

The current pilot is free and requires no payment card. There is no automatic renewal. Future paid features, if introduced, will require a separate purchase; using this pilot does not authorize a charge.

Files are limited to 5 MB and 500 rows. PDFs may contain up to ten upright text pages. A guided column mapper handles one table per page with one text row per item; every page requires confirmation. Two documented sample layouts also support direct import. Scanned PDFs, tax calculations, historical duplicate-order checks, customer-specific pricing rules and automatic Shopify order creation are not included.

What should I check?

A downloaded report is a reviewed draft, not a verified business transaction. Confirm the source is complete, select the correct product and unit, review prices and check for an existing order in your system. Only use records you are authorized to process.
